Staffed by more than 155 scientific, quality assurance, and support staff professionals, USP-India’s Hyderabad site supports USP’s global efforts to set standards for the identity, strength, quality, and purity of drugs, food ingredients, and dietary supplements.

In operation for over a decade, USP-India allows USP to pursue collaborative opportunities with policy makers, regulators, professional and manufacturing associations, and leaders in India's pharmaceutical and food sectors.

USP-India is ISO 17025 accredited and features state-of-the-art laboratories with analytical capability for the development of reference materials for all of USP’s compendia, including biologics research and synthetic chemistry.

USP-India also offers world class education and training for customers and stakeholders such as regulatory authorities, manufacturers, and students.
