Determining Purity with Benchtop 1H NMR (On-Demand)

Curriculum

Course Description
High-field NMR instruments are excellent at chemical structure elucidation and quantitation, but their size and complexity mean that these instruments cannot be widely used. Recent advances in benchtop NMR resolution, with models as strong as 100 MHz, make benchtop qNMR a powerful technique for routine quantitative analysis. Benchtop qNMR has emerged as a complementary NMR technology for research and QA/QC laboratories.

This presentation will showcase several applications of benchtop qNMR for purity determination that any scientist with benchtop qNMR can implement.

This on-demand recording is from USP’s qNMR Workshop, held November 17–19, 2020, and features a presentation by Dr. Juan Araneda.
