Anthony Tann is General Manager and Senior Director, Asia Pacific. His responsibilities include leading the strategic development and execution of public strategies to advance public health in the region through the development and utilization of USP quality standards to enhance the quality of medicines, dietary supplements and foods.
In his role, Anthony is responsible for leading all externally facing functions in the Asia Pacific region, including strategic customer engagement, external affairs and scientific affairs. He also supports operational units including the Science Division and Pharmacopeial Education. He focuses on establishing strong and collaborative relationships with leading industry and public stakeholders throughout the region.
Anthony has more than 25 years of experience in sales and marketing, operations as well as general management within the health care industry in the Asia Pacific region. He has served as the Managing Director of Fresenius Medical Care and Chief Operating Officer for PGT Healthcare in Greater China. His experience also includes leading the Asia Pacific operations as Managing Director in Teva Pharmaceuticals and Ortho Clinical Diagnostics (then a Johnson & Johnson company), focusing on growth strategies in the region.
Anthony received an MBA from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the National University of Singapore
