Course Description
This presentation highlights four projects where NMR spectroscopy has been applied to solve analytical challenges over the years, each with a basis in, or potential for, compendial applications.
The four vignettes include: 1. Development and validation of the official USP monograph method for analysis of phospholipids in krill oil using 31P-NMR spectroscopy. 2. Developing a non-targeted NMR spectroscopic method for screening milk powders for authenticity and/or adulteration. 3. qNMR spectroscopy for determining the purity and potency of hand sanitizers. 4. NMR spectroscopy for differentiating various types of CBD products in a single measurement.
This on-demand recording is from USP’s qNMR Workshop, held November 17–19, 2020, and features a presentation by Dr. Kristie Adams.
