Seizure of Saxon Hydrogen Peroxide in 1943

In this case the Assistant to Chief at the FDA recommended the seizure of several lots of Hydrogen Peroxide, because they were off color, had an odor like nitrobenzene, and did not meet USP's standard. Included in this case file were the test results from the Seattle office and samples of the product packaging. Since this seizure took place during World War II, it is also interesting to note the wartime letter head promoting the sale of US Savings Bonds.
