Nurisha Wade is the Vice President of the Global Healthcare Quality and Safety Center of Excellence at USP which provides standards and solutions to healthcare organizations and healthcare practitioners to improve quality, patient safety and access to medicines. She oversees USP efforts around Compounding, Nomenclature and Labeling, Medication Safety and Healthcare Information & Technology. Nurisha joined USP in 2016 as the Sr. Director for Dietary Supplements which included leadership of USP Verification Services - a multi-step program that evaluates Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) facility audits, product quality control & manufacturing (QCM) process evaluation, and product testing.
Nurisha has over 20 years’ experience including in the Foods, Dietary Supplements and Health industries. Prior to joining USP, she held various leadership roles in global strategy, product innovation, marketing and sales with organizations such as McCormick and Company, Inc., Campbell Soup Company and Morton Salt Company. She has a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Howard University and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Maryland College Park.
