Contribute reference standard materials, analytical reference materials (ARMs), and other physical materials.
USP Reference Standards
USP Reference Standards help ensure the identity, strength, quality and purity of medicines, supplements, and food, as well as their ingredients. They are closely tied to our Documentary Standards (monographs and General Chapters) and are essential for quantitative and qualitative evaluations in compendial procedures. By contributing to materials, you will help ensure standards meet quality expectations.

Analytical Reference Materials (ARMs) Program
Based on our stakeholders’ feedback, we are working on flexible solutions that can be made available in a short time to address pain points across the drug lifecycle. For example, the need for quality reference materials for early R&D or manufacturing to help adapt to industry’s rapidly changing environment. To this end, we are providing certain analytical materials called ARMs to address current and immediate needs. The ARMs are different from USP RS and are released through a process developed by USP’s subject matter experts. The ARMs are of the same high quality that you have come to expect and trust.
Benefits of Contributing
When you supply materials to the USP Donations Program, you will help ensure the continuous availability of quality products and support regulators’ efforts to ensure the quality of medicines, supplements, and food ingredients.
USP Recognizes Your Contributions
Your contribution plays a vital role in improving global public health by developing and ensuring quality standards in over 130 countries. You are a champion of quality. To demonstrate our appreciation for your valuable contributions, USP proudly acknowledges you within our Donor Recognition Program.
