Overview

USP is convening the 5th International qNMR Summit, the foremost colloquium of the qNMR practitioners. 

The Summit will examine the state of qNMR and address challenges of adopting qNMR as an analytical technique, review development of practical qNMR validation guidelines, and explore potential implications of qNMR implementation in industrial, contract laboratory and regulatory settings. The Summit will survey the latest advances and developments in the field, including those of instrumentation, data acquisition and management and novel applications. The Summit will work toward consolidating ongoing efforts and map out directions in which the field is progressing.

The Summit is co-sponsored by the Center for Natural Products Technologies (CENAPT) at the University of Illinois at Chicago, a leading institution advancing qNMR and supplying trained cadre to the industrial, academic and government research laboratories.

Objectives 

  • Acquire global perspectives of qNMR applicability to pharmacopeial analysis
  • Identify key players within academic, industrial and regulatory environments knowledgeable in qNMR and interested in facilitating its adoption
  • Identify opportunities and challenges for broader adoption of qNMR
  • Evaluate appropriateness of USP documentary standards relevant to qNMR implementation
  • Assess the perspectives on USP developing authoritative qNMR reference standards
  • Formulate consensus qNMR guidelines for the industry to adopt, and for the regulators to adhere to
  • Prepare the foundation for harmonization of qNMR adoption with other pharmacopeial bodies, as well as regulatory entities

Advance online registration will be available through Monday, September 30th at 5:00pm (Eastern).  After that time, registration will be available on-site at the USP Meetings Center.  

Pricing Information

Registration is payable by credit card only. The In-Person Attendee registration fee includes the full two-day program, meeting materials, coffee breaks, lunch and networking reception. For the Virtual Attendee registration option, please note that only ONE session per day will be made available.

Cancellation and Substitution Policy

Registration fees are non-refundable once processed; however, it is permissible to send a substitute registrant from the same organization. Substitutions will be only accepted by email to conferences@usp.org.

Invitation Letters for Visas

USP cannot provide an invitation letter to potential workshop attendees; however, once you are registered, USP will provide a registration confirmation that may be utilized to obtain a visa.
