5th USP Workshop on Therapeutic Peptides: Regulations, Standards and Quality - Call for Posters

We are pleased to invite you to submit abstracts for posters at the 5th USP Workshop on Therapeutic Peptides to be held at the USP Meetings Center on November 5–6, 2018.

We are still accepting abstracts for poster presentations on the following topics:

  • Advances in peptide manufacturing and purification technologies: strategies and novel methods
  • Advanced technologies for peptide characterization
  • Alternative analytical methods to quantify and report related substances and impurities
  • Bioassay development
  • Bioidentity methods
  • Developing stability-indicating assays
  • Setting specification and acceptance criteria
  • Improving stability, bioavailability, half-life extension
  • Peptide drug conjugates
  • Peptide-based vaccines
  • Immunogenicity testing of peptides
  • Structure-function studies and new targets
  • Novel strategies for peptide formulation and delivery
  • Regulatory compliance
  • CMC strategies for peptides
  • Comparability between generics and innovator products
  • Personalized medicine

Contributed poster presentation submission timeline

  • Submission Deadline: We will continue to accept poster presentations s on a rolling basis (Priority review will be given for early submissions)
  • Notification of Acceptance/Denial: Notification will be sent 30 days post receipt

  2. Financial considerations for approved presenters
    A complimentary workshop registration will be provided for all session speakers. A discounted registration fee will be offered for poster presenters. All travel costs including airfare, hotel, ground transportation, food and beverage, and any other travel related incidentals/extras are the responsibility of the session speaker or poster presenter.
