Strengthening institutional capacity for improved TB diagnostics laboratory services in the Kyrgyz Republic
Date/Time: E-Poster EP-18-772: Available on demand until March 31, 2023
USAID’s Cure TB Project, led by JSI in partnership with USP, is helping TB laboratory networks in the Kyrgyz Republic better diagnose, treat, and cure people with multi-drug resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB). Through a situational analysis, which included quantitative lab assessments and qualitative interviews of 60 national, regional, and district level TB stakeholders, we found gaps in identifying costs in financing TB laboratories that prevent the government from ensuring budgetary requests are sufficiently funded.
