Toks Joseph is the Vice President, Global Compliance and Ethics, for USP. In this role, he oversees activities to ensure that USP’s operations and activities throughout the world comply with the USP Code of Ethics, policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations. Mr. Joseph is responsible for establishing and leading an effective best practices USP compliance and ethics program which promotes ethical practices, and prevents and detects violations of law, the USP Code of Ethics, and policies and procedures.
Mr. Joseph joined USP in 2013, bringing with him extensive experience implementing and managing compliance programs in a global environment. Mr. Joseph previously worked for a global consulting firm in the civil engineering industry, where as Deputy Compliance and Ethics Officer he helped to oversee a global compliance and ethics program. He also held various senior-level management positions in the compliance and ethics department of a leading processor of global agricultural commodities, where he was responsible for establishing, implementing, and managing compliance initiatives in more than 60 countries.
Mr. Joseph is a qualified Barrister and Solicitor. He received his law degree from Lagos State University in Lagos, Nigeria, and a master's degree in international and comparative business law from London Guildhall University in the United Kingdom.
