As Treasurer of USP’s Board of Trustees, Jay Roberts will apply his extensive experience in financial management and strategic leadership to help ensure USP’s future longevity and financial stability. His tenure with leading biopharmaceutical and healthcare companies has given Jay deep expertise in finance and operations.
Jay is currently a member of Ventac Partners, a life science venture catalyst with offices in nine countries internationally launching innovative therapeutics, devices and diagnostics.
He was most recently the President and CEO of Vyant Bio, Inc., where he has successfully led the company in drug discovery using human-derived cells, artificial intelligence, and animal disease models. His leadership has been instrumental in driving the company’s international operations and strategic growth. Earlier in his career, Jay led several other life sciences companies as CEO, Chief Financial Officer, and as Treasurer.
Having worked in both the for-profit and non-profit worlds has enabled Jay to view the healthcare landscape through different lenses, giving him multiple perspectives that he will bring to bear as he helps guide USP over the next five years.
