Other PublicationsArticle in Public Library of Science (PLoS)"A Collaborative Epidemiological Investigation into the Criminal Fake Artesunate Trade in South East Asia," an article published February 12 in the journal PLoS Medicine, describes the collaborative effort of police, chemists, criminal analysts, palynologists, and health professionals to shut down the manufacture of some fake artesunates in Southeast Asia. USP DQI contributed to the project by supplying postmarketing surveillance data; Dr. Souly Phanouvong and former USP DQI Director Nancy Blum were among the co–authors.
