Willem (Bill) Folkerts is Vice President, Strategic Marketing and Program Operations—Food Science, for USP. He leads the strategic marketing effort to increase USP’s global food safety footprint.
Mr. Folkerts brings more than 30 years of sales and marketing, business and strategic development, quality management, and research and development experience to the organization. Mr. Folkerts has worked for several leading life science, diagnostic, and standards organizations over the years, including ATCC, Lonza, QIAGEN, BD, and Invitrogen. Most recently, Mr. Folkerts served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at ATCC--where he led efforts to drive domestic and international revenue growth through partnerships and sales and marketing optimization.
Mr. Folkerts earned his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Baltimore and his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology/Chemistry from Towson University.
