In accordance with the Rules and Procedures of the 2010–2015 Council of Experts, the Monographs— Small Molecules 3 Expert Committee has revised the Tamsulosin Hydrochloride Capsules monograph. The purpose for the revision is to add Dissolution Test 9 and the Assay Procedure 9 corresponding to this Dissolution test for a new generic version of this product approved by FDA.

The Tamsulosin Hydrochloride Capsules Revision Bulletin supersedes the currently official monograph. The Revision Bulletin will be incorporated in the Second Supplement to USP 34–NF 29.
