In accordance with the Rules and Procedures of the 2010–2015 Council of Experts, the Monographs—Dietary Supplements Expert Committee has revised the Ginkgo Capsules monograph. The purpose for the revision is to allow for the use of different lots of USP Ginkgo Terpene Lactones RS, a natural fraction that tend to show inter-lot variation in the content of different terpene lactones present.

The Ginkgo Capsules Revision Bulletin supersedes the currently official monograph. The Revision Bulletin will be incorporated in the First Supplement to USP 35–NF30.
