In accordance with the Rules and Procedures of the 2005–2010 Council of Experts, the Biopharmaceutics Expert Committee has revised the Propranolol Hydrochloride Extended-Release Capsules Monograph to correct the procedure in Dissolution Test 3 and to include a Dissolution Test 4 for a new generic approved by the Food and Drug Administration.
The Propranolol Hydrochloride Extended-Release Capsules Revision Bulletin supersedes the currently official monograph and will be incorporated in the Second Supplement to the USP 33–NF 28 Reissue.
