In accordance with the Rules and Procedures of the 2005–2010 Council of Experts, the MD—Ophthalmology, Oncology, and Dermatology Expert Committee has revised Pilocarpine Hydrochloride Tablets Monograph Related compounds test by adding Pilocarpic acid as a specified impurity at limit of 0.5%.

The Pilocarpine Hydrochloride Tablets Monograph Revision Bulletin supersedes the currently official monograph and will be incorporated into the First Supplement to the USP 33–NF 28 Reissue.
