USP is seeking public participation in a new survey about residual solvent testing. This survey is designed to assist USP in determining improvements to our standards for residual solvents.
Residual solvents are organic volatile chemicals that are used or produced in the manufacture of drug substances or excipients, or in the preparation of drug products. They also can be used or produced in the manufacture of dietary supplement ingredients or products.
The participation of stakeholders in this research will be invaluable. In appreciation for this participation, survey respondents will have the option of entering into a drawing to win a 16GB Wi-Fi enabled Apple iPad with Retina Display or one of five $100 Amazon.com gift certificates.
