USP recently determined that there is an error in the Benzethonium Chloride USP monograph that appears in Pharmacopeial Forum 39(1) [Jan.–Feb. 2013]. The Sample, Analysis, and Acceptance Criteria under the Procedure for Assay should be marked for deletion.

The monograph has since been replaced and the corrected version is now available.
