Reference Standards Technical Data Sheets

USP provides Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for all Reference Standards. Additional lot–specific data sheets (Reference Standard Ranges for Dissolution Performance Verification Testing, USP Certificates, typical chromatograms, etc.), when specifically required, are shipped with Reference Standards orders. All MSDS and some additional data sheets are also available through this Web site. New Reference Standards have MSDS that meet ANSI Z400.1.

To view available MSDS for a specific Reference Standard, select the product name in the Reference Standard Alpha listings Reference Standard Alpha listings and click on "View" next to "MSDS."

Certificates

With the exception of CRMs, USP does not provide Certificates of Analysis. All information for official uses of a Reference Standard is on the label of the standard and, where needed, in the additional data sheets shipped with the standard.
