USP Pharmacists' Pharmacopeia Product Information

Overview

The USP Pharmacists' Pharmacopeia is a dedicated reference for pharmacy, veterinary, and other healthcare practitioners and students. Compiled under the guidance of leading USP experts, this reference provides comprehensive and critical information that will enhance the knowledge of today's practicing pharmacists and compounding professionals.

The new 2008-2009 USP Pharmacists' Pharmacopeia published in March 2008 and is available in print and online (coming May 2008) subscriptions. The USP Pharmacists' Pharmacopeia publishes every two years with five Supplements published between main editions. Supplements are provided to print subscribers in PDF format via a secure area on the USP Web site. Online subscribers will receive access to all USP Pharmacists' Pharmacopeia information posted during their subscription period; Supplements will automatically post to the online product.

The USP Pharmacists' Pharmacopeia combines pharmacy – and veterinary–relevant information excerpted verbatim from the USP–NF with other authorized reference information developed by USP's Council of Experts. Official USP–NF requirements in monographs and General Chapters are enforceable by regulatory authorities.

Content in the 2008–2009 USP Pharmacists' Pharmacopeia includes:
