A memorial service for Dr. Tom Foster was held on Sunday, October 17, 2010 in the University of Kentucky Memorial Hall. If anyone wishes to make a memorial contribution, the family requests that contributions be made to the "University of Kentucky" and sent to the college of pharmacy at the address listed below. In the memo line, please put "Dr. Tom Foster." (Please do not make the check out to the College of Pharmacy.) The University of Kentucky will place the contributions in the Paul Parker Professorship fund.

This message follows yesterday's letter from USP CEO Dr. Roger Williams. We would like to share with you arrangements that have been made for a memorial service for Dr. Tom Foster.
The memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 17, 2010 in the University of Kentucky Memorial Hall (610 S. Limestone Street, Lexington, KY 40506-0049) as follows:

It is with great sadness that I inform you that Tom Foster, Professor at the University of Kentucky and a long-time USP expert volunteer, Honorary Member, and 2010 USP Beal Award winner, passed away this morning from metastatic pancreatic cancer. Tom was diagnosed only a few short weeks ago.
In the near future, we hope to post a special tribute to Tom on USP's Web site. In the meantime, you can read about Tom's many USP accomplishments.
