MEDMARX® Multi-facility Module

The MEDMARX® Multi-facility Module is an add-on to a basic MEDMARX subscription. It allows corporate healthcare systems, multi-hospital networks and alliances to analyze medication error data reported by multiple facilities within their organization.

The module allows participants to

  • Standardize patient safety initiatives and medication error reporting processes across all facilities within a system.
  • Access and analyze medication errors reported for any single facility or combination of facilities.
  • Monitor facility reports on a continual basis for quality control.
  • Generate reports, charts, and graphs by individual facility, collection of similar facilities, or all facilities within the system.
  • Build and save custom searches and reports based upon error causes, error locations, and type of products involved.
  • Get detailed individual facility information from system-wide reports by simply clicking on the records of interest.
  • Send system-wide alerts through multi-facility notices.
  • Share error trends, insights prevention strategies, and best practices among facilities within the system.
  • Identify and follow-up with facilities that could enhance their participation in identified patient safety initiatives and error reporting.
