This course discusses in detail, with examples, the USP <41> requirements on balances and USP perspectives of Weighing on an Analytical Balance—USP General Chapter <1251>. The course is developed by USP liaisons with support from the USP Physical Analysis Expert Committee.
Through this course, the audience will achieve an accurate understanding of the requirements in the revised USP General Chapter <41>, USP perspectives on USP General Chapter <1251> and good weighing practices. An important Interim Revision of USP General Chapter <41> became official July 1st, 2014. This revision changes the way to calculate the repeatability requirement.
