Course Description:
The USP Institution Solution is an eLearning, practice- centric, comprehensive training program that helps health-systems meet quality and compliance expectations of USP compounding and safe handling of hazardous drugs standards (USP General Chapters <795>, <797> and <800>) across the organization.

This course of the education offering is meant for Pharmacy Leaders responsible for the understanding, support and implementation of USP standards on compounding (USP General Chapters <795> and <797>) and safe handling of hazardous drugs (USP General Chapter <800>).

The course for Pharmacy Leaders defines the roles and responsibilities regarding the implementation and compliance with USP General Chapters <795>, <797> and <800> and describes the quality, regulatory and reimbursement impact of compliance with USP standards on healthcare organizations.

It is recommended that the Pharmacy Leaders become familiar with the general chapters in greater detail and consider completing the courses for compounding professionals on USP General Chapters <795>, <797> and <800>.
