Members Overview

The USP Convention membership is constituted to ensure suitable representation of those sections of the pharmaceutical care and food ingredient communities that are impacted by and in turn impact USP's activities. Members guide and facilitate USP's work to advance health through public standards through discussions that address issues of interest to their constituents, voting on resolutions that guide USP's policies and initiatives, and electing the USP Convention officers (the president and treasurer), trustees, and the Council of Experts. Members keep their constituencies informed of USP activities and issues and share with USP information and perspectives from colleagues in their categories that are relevant to USP.
