Registration and Cancellation Policies

Registration and Payment Policy

  • Call USP Customer Service to receive personal registration assistance at 1–800–227–8772 (U.S. and Canada) or +1–301–881–0666 (International).
  • To register online, click on the desired course. Select the "register" option and follow instructions to register and pay online with credit card (note: the "register" option will not appear if a dated event is not scheduled).
  • Payments by check and/or company purchase order must be mailed or faxed to USP. When paying by check and/or company purchase order, you must first establish a USP Authorization Code to ensure that you reserve seating in the course. To receive a code, call +1–301–230–6304. Once established, return to the registration page and 'pay' with your code. Your course registration will be held pending receipt of payment. Please fax required documents to +1–301–998–6824.

Early–bird and Group Pricing

Early–bird and group pricing may be available for certain traditional classroom courses. When offered, it will be outlined in the course information found on the USP Web site. The pricing is firmly linked to a final promotion date and can not be altered if registration is requested after that date.

Customized Courses

Refunds

All refunds may be requested in writing to USP Pharmacopeial Education. You may email your request to or mail it to USP, Attn: Customer Service—PE Course Registration, 12601 Twinbrook Parkway, Rockville, MD, 20852–1790.

Transfers

All registration transfer requests must be submitted in writing to USP Pharmacopeial Education. You may email your request to or mail it to USP, Attn: Customer Service–PE Course Registration, 12601 Twinbrook Parkway, Rockville, MD, 20852–1790.

Registration transfers will be honored up to the day of the program and will be honored on–site if the request is provided on company letterhead with the names and titles of both the original registrant and the replacement registrant.

Inclement Weather

In the event of inclement weather, the decision to cancel an event will be made no later than 6:00 a.m. (local time where event is occurring) the morning of the event. An attempt will be made to contact all registrants via phone or email. Every effort will be made to schedule registrants of a cancelled course into the next offering of the course. Registration fees for any canceled event will be returned in full.

Low Enrollment

In the event that enrollment is below the minimum for any event, a cancellation determination will be made no later than two weeks prior to the date of the event. If a course is cancelled due to low enrollment, registered students may elect to move into the next scheduled course if available, or the funds for the USP cancelled event will be returned in full.
