USP Constitution & Bylaws Briefings Registration Update — To simplify registration for our remaining Constitution & Bylaws (C&B) briefing in January (Jan. 28, 2008, 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon EST), you may now register by sending an e-mail to . After registering, you will receive a teleconference number and passcode. The day before the briefing, an e-mail with the slides as well as other briefing materials will be sent to you. This briefing will be conducted by C&B Committee member Rebecca P. Snead, R.Ph., CEO of the National Alliance of State Pharmacy Associations. We encourage you to increase your understanding of the proposed changes and their impact on the USP by attending this briefing.

A fourth and final briefing will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2009 from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. EST. Details for registration will be provided in the beginning of March.

Dietary Supplements Safety Review - Deadline for Comments is January 30 — USP's approach to dietary supplement standards setting has always included a safety assessment. The Dietary Supplements Information (DSI) Expert Committee invites your comments on improving the process. Please send your comments and suggestions by January 30, 2009 for consideration by the DSI Expert Committee at its February meeting.
