Alternates

USP encourages attendance by alternates in cases where delegates and observers are unable to attend the meeting; however, alternates must be named by the executive officer of the Member or Official Observer organization before USP funding can be granted. If an alternate was not named prior to the meeting, the executive of the organization must email indicating the name of the alternate. Once USP acknowledges acceptance of this designation, the alternate may register in place of the delegate or observer and will qualify for USP assistance for travel, hotel and meeting expenses, as noted above. Alternates attending the meeting in addition to Delegates or Observers are responsible for their own expenses.
