Constitution & Bylaws member requirements

There are two components to USP's membership. Certain organizations are named in USP's Constitution, and others are invited by the Board of Trustees. This membership model — named and invited — allows USP to enjoy continuity as well as flexibility within its membership. Whether named or invited, all USP members have the same rights and responsibilities. The term for an invited organization is one cycle (5-years between meetings), while named organizations have continuous membership cycle to cycle.

The Constitution limits the number of organizations within each category so that the size of USP's membership does not become unwieldy. USP is careful to maintain a balance of perspectives and seeks to include representation within its membership of all interested parties.

There are no dues associated with USP Membership.
