Around the World

USP's mission to help ensure the quality, safety, and benefit of medicines and foods is worldwide in scope. To effectively reach out to and help improve the health of global communities, we are continually finding new ways to integrate our experience and capabilities with advancements in science, technology, and knowledge-sharing tools.

We have expanded our physical operations and now have five sites located in key international manufacturing and distribution centers. We continue to build on our regional activities and programs to meet the changing needs of those who supply medicines and foods to the world, and to those countries whose quality infrastructure and needs are underserved or at risk. USP also offers international standards through non-U.S. monographs and the new USP Medicines Compendium. Our standards are used today in more than 130 countries.
