Public access to USP Information Center resources

The USP Information Center is open to the public for viewing the following documents at USP headquarters during regular office hours, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Electronic versions of the following resources listed below also may be made available for viewing, if such exist. Please note that only some electronic resources are available for walk–in users on workstations in the Information Center, as they are governed by license agreements. Permission to utilize the Information Center must be requested at least 24 hours in advance from the manager of the Information Center by telephone +301–816–8352 or by email

  1. All volumes and periodicals contained in the Information Center. Periodical issues from only the current and the previous one year are maintained at USP Headquarters.
  2. All volumes of the official compendia, USP–NF, supplements, addenda and interim revision announcements, and available translations
  3. All volumes of the Pharmacopeial Forum (PF)
  4. All volumes of the USP Dictionary of USAN and International Drug Names
  5. All volumes of the Pharmacists' Pharmacopeia
  6. Current USP Reference Standards Catalog
  7. Most recent edition of Chromatographic reagents
  8. Other volumes published by USP
  9. Proceedings of USP Convention Meetings and available copies of USP Annual Report (now published electronically)
