Brian L. Hendrix, M.S., Chief Finance and Administration Officer

Brian Hendrix is chief finance and administration officer for the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) and previously served as USP's vice president of finance. He is responsible for the organization's general accounting and financial operations, budgeting and financial forecasting, and purchasing, as well as treasury and investments functions, distribution, security, facilities, and office services activities. Mr. Hendrix also oversees USP's Information Technology department and has oversight of the construction of USP's new headquarters scheduled for completion in May 2007.

Mr. Hendrix brings to USP more than 15 years of experience in financial analysis, management, and control. Before joining USP, he held the position of assistant vice president, financial planning and analysis with the Zurich Insurance Group/Maryland Casualty Co. in Baltimore, Maryland.

Mr. Hendrix earned a bachelor of science degree in management and a master of science degree in finance from the University of Baltimore.
