Cost

USP pays the cost.

USP provides free onsite parking to employees.

SmartBenefits® Subsidy

Eligibility

Regular full–time and regular part–time employees working 20 hours per week are eligible immediately upon employment.

Cost

USP pays for a monthly transportation subsidy.

Amount of Benefit

In cooperation with the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, employees who use public transportation as their primary mode of transportation may receive a $100 per month transportation subsidy in the form of SmartBenefits® vouchers or SmartTrip® benefits. Additionally, employees can purchase, on a pre–tax basis, up to an additional $130 per month of transportation benefit.
