Nominating Committee for Officers and Trustees

The Nominating Committee for Officers and Trustees (NC–O&T) is formed before each five-year membership meeting. The NC–O&T consists of four delegates (or other representatives of Member Organizations or At-Large Members, two trustees, and two other persons) appointed by the President.

It is the Committee's responsibility to find two suitable candidates for each officer and trustee position—president, treasurer, and eight trustees. The constituencies that are to be represented on the Board are dictated in the Bylaws, and the Committee must adhere to those parameters in developing its slate for election by the Members.

The Board of Trustees serves as the fiduciary decision-maker on behalf of the Members between meetings.
