USP Guideline on Use of Accelerated Processes for Revisions to the USP-NF

The Rules and Procedures of USP's Council of Experts specify processes that can be used to make revisions to the USP-NF official more quickly than through USP's standard revision process. These accelerated processes include Errata, Interim Revision Announcements (IRAs), and Revision Bulletins.

The Guideline on Use of Accelerated Processes delineates the circumstances under which Errata, IRAs and Revision Bulletins can be utilized, and also addresses the use of delayed official dates for revisions made through the standard revision process.
