In accordance with the Rules and Procedures of the 2005-2010 Council of Experts, the Biologics and Biotechnology–Proteins and Polysaccharides Expert Committee has revised the General Chapter <1054> Biotechnology-Derived Articles—Isoelectric Focusing by Harmonizing the text as part of USP’s ongoing commitment to the Pharmacopeial Discussion Group (PDG).

The <1054> Biotechnology-Derived Articles—Isoelectric Focusing Revision Bulletin supersedes the General Chapter that was previously approved in Pharmacopeial Forum 34(6) [Nov.-Dec. 2008] until it is printed in the USP 33–NF 28, which will be released 1 November 2009 and becomes official 1 May 2010.
