USP Postpones the Official Date of the Glycerin Monograph: Revisions and Clarifications to be MadePosted: May 9, 2008 USP has received comments from several industry groups and companies about technical and timing issues related to the Glycerin Monograph Revision Bulletin, which was posted on USP's Web site on March 14, 2008, with an official date of May 15, 2008. As a result, the Excipients Monographs 1 (EM1) Expert Committee has decided to postpone the official date of the Glycerin monograph, as specified in the Revision Bulletin of March 14, 2008 to allow time for the Expert Committee to revise and clarify the monograph's requirements. Following approval by the EM1 Expert Committee, the revised monograph will be posted on USP's Web site and will become official 10 weeks after the date of posting. USP has informed the Food and Drug Administration of this postponement. Please forward all communications to Robert Lafaver at or 1–301–816–8335 What's New![]() Second Customer Notice (03/10/10)
