In accordance with the Rules and Procedures of the 2005-2010 Council of Experts, section 9.08(d)*, USP is postponing the Enoxaparin Sodium and Enoxaparin Sodium Injection Monographs, effective immediately. This postponement is due to the unavailability of the Reference Standards associated with these monographs. This postpones both the Enoxaparin Sodium Monograph Revision Bulletin (dated October 31, 2008) and the Enoxaparin Sodium and Enoxaparin Sodium Injection Monographs appearing in the USP 31–NF 26 Second Supplement.

Upon availability of the Reference Standards, USP will re-post the Enoxaparin Sodium and Enoxaparin Sodium Injection monographs via Revision Bulletin, with an appropriate official date. Should you have any questions, please contact Anita Szajek, Ph.D. (301–816–8325 or ).

*9.08(d) Postponement Due to Unavailability of Reference Standards. Where a new reference standard is required in a new monograph or in a revision of an existing monograph but is not yet available, the official date of any portion of the monograph or monograph revision utilizing such reference standard shall be postponed until such reference standard is available. The postponement and the name of such unavailable reference standards shall be published. At such time as such reference standards become available, their availability and the official date of the postponed portion(s) of the monograph shall be announced.
